Tyler Sharp named Operations Manager for LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Atlanta
Merlin Entertainments expert joins team with goals to elevate overall customer experience

LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Atlanta management proudly welcomes Tyler Sharp as the new Operations Manager of the Phipps Plaza attraction. Sharp’s portfolio of experience with Merlin Entertainments, dating back to 2012, and genuine love for customer service made him an ideal candidate for the role.
Sharp first started his career with LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Atlanta’s admissions team when the attraction opened in March of 2012. Since then, he has traveled to and worked for sister Merlin Entertainments’ attractions, including Madame Tussauds Hollywood, The Orlando Eye and The Blackpool Tower in the United Kingdom, through Merlin Entertainments’ Accelerate Graduate Program.
“It all started when I held the ‘Sold Out’ sign at the LEGOLAND Discovery Center Atlanta grand opening!” said Sharp. “My experience with Merlin has come full circle, and I am honored to return to my hometown as Operations Manager for one of the city’s best attractions.”
As Operations Manager, Sharp plans to build a strong operations team, ultimately yielding a more memorable customer experience for guests. He is committed to fostering an environment where families can learn about LEGO bricks, immerse themselves in play and leave with memories to last a lifetime.
A Forsyth, Ga., native, Sharp graduated from Georgia State University in 2014 with a degree in political science. Through LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Atlanta, Sharp is a member of the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau, Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and the Buckhead Hotel Coalition.
