LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Atlanta to host Cosplay and Comedy Adult Night on September 1

Adult fans of LEGO®, cosplay and comedy welcome to enjoy themed activities, laughs, giveaways and more!

Friday, August 26, 2016 — In honor of Dragon Con mania striking Atlanta on Labor Day Weekend, LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Atlanta welcomes adult fans of LEGO and visitors of the annual convention to its upcoming Cosplay and Comedy Adult Night on Thursday, September 1 from 7-9 p.m.

Guests are encouraged to dress up in cosplay attire and join the attraction for a night filled with laughs, libations, a cosplay competition, giveaways and more! LEGOLAND Discovery Center Atlanta has teamed up with 2nd & Charles in Buford to offer special prizes for the top four cosplay competition winners and a grand-prize giveaway!

Comedian Jonathan Giles and friends will host a comedy show from 8-9 p.m. Giles is an Atlanta native and has appeared in comedy clubs across America such as Laugh Factory, Zanies, Laughing Skull and Ice House Comedy Club. There will be a $10 cash cover* for entry into the comedy show at the exit of the attraction, the proceeds of which will benefit Merlin’s Magic Wand, a worldwide charity helping to provide magical experiences to ill, disabled or disadvantaged children. Adult beverages (for those 21 and up) will be also available for purchase during the four-act show!

WHAT: Cosplay and Comedy Adult Night  

A cosplay competition, giveaways, a comedy show and more fun! Guests will have access to the LEGO Factory Tour, MINILAND, Pirate Adventure Island, Kingdom Quest Laser Ride, Merlin’s Apprentice, the 4D Cinema and model building in addition to the café and LEGO shop.

WHEN: Thursday, September 1 from 7-9 p.m.

Comedy show will take place from 8-9 p.m.
